Our concept is simple: create an authentic Italian restaurant in a historic Saint John setting with the motto, “Use great ingredients and use them with love.” In Italy, dining is never rushed. Each course is savoured and thoughtfully selected to make sure the meal is perfect. We’ve sought out and found the finest Italian imported food stuffs and combined them with the best food product we can buy locally. We want our guests to feel our love of Italian food in every dish. Liz can be in the middle of a thousand things yet the scent of freshly grated nutmeg will have her hurrying over to the stove to see what the team is creating. Our menu consists of the antipasti, the primi, the secondi and dolce (the appetizers, the pasta course, the meat course and dessert). The menu is seasonal so we can get the best from local produce, meat and fish. We also want you to experience Italian hospitality. Our turn-of-the-century dining room with exposed brick walls, wide planked flooring, subtle lighting and exposed kitchen is the perfect backdrop for creating the ambiance of true Italian dining. With our exposed kitchen, you’ll be able to watch the magic. Many guests have commented on how happy and calm we appear. And we are! Happiness is in the details.
