About Itqan Clinical Simulation and Innovation Center
Itqan Clinical Simulation and Innovation Center is a state-of-the-art education, training, and innovation facility located on the Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City (HBKMC) campus of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in Doha, Qatar. It is one of the world’s largest simulation centers and the largest facility of its kind in the region. In June 2024, Itqan was awarded full Accreditation status for Teaching/Education by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), further solidifying its global reputation for excellence. The Center is revolutionizing clinical education, training, and healthcare innovation in Qatar by providing healthcare professionals and students with the opportunity to develop and refine technical clinical skills, improve clinical judgment, and enhance prioritization, communication, and teamwork skills. In parallel, it drives healthcare innovation by integrating advanced technologies, such as virtual reality and artificial intelligence, into its training and development programs, setting a new standard for immersive learning and innovation in the region.
