Founded by owner Peter Bjørn in 1990, ITR has gone from strength to strength, having its best time in recent years. was a pioneer in the Danish market, introducing the concept of freight audit management to a market which was initially very sceptical of the concept. Most turnover comes from specific projects where we help our customers to make ongoing savings on their freight expenditure – and with our unique business model, they merely pay us a percentage of the savings realised over the following year. One of our first clients was Royal Copenhagen, the famous and distinguished Danish company with its iconic blue and white porcelain. Today, we are respected and recognised by the Global transport industry, with most new business coming from customers referrals. For several years ago, we have taken on more and more work from outside Denmark, much of it on long-term contracts. Ongoing audit work is an increasingly popular service and we are increasing our capacity in this area. Long-term contracts are becoming the norm, securing our income stream for several years ahead. A key advantage for ITR is scalability – unlike major international competitors, no project or client is too small for us.
