Ivor Searle is one of the UK’s most respected producers of remanufactured engines, cylinder heads, gearboxes and turbochargers. The business also provides a professional, trade-only DPF cleaning service for light vehicles. For more than 70 years, the business has been at the forefront of premium quality remanufacturing for engines and ancillary parts, for cars and light commercial vehicles. Its products are distributed through a network of 1,500 trade partners across the UK and mainland Europe and next day delivery nationwide is offered on stocked items. Ivor Searle's mission is to produce remanufactured products that are engineered to the highest achievable standards, accompanied by exceptional service with a commitment to our customers and the environment. All products are manufactured to ISO 9001:2008. All remanufactured engines are built to exceed the BS AU257:2002 code of practice defining the difference between a reconditioned, refurbished or rebuilt engine and a superior quality remanufactured engine. All remanufactured engines are equipped with new pistons, piston pins, piston rings, mains and con-rod bearings, timing chain or belt, gaskets, oil seals, core plugs and oil filter. These new components have been selected for their durability and reliability and are sourced extensively from manufacturers that supply vehicle OEMs. Once assembled, every engine is tested in a purpose built test cell and subjected to a series of checks with the results recorded against each specific engine serial number. Ivor Searle's client base includes many of the UK's largest vehicle fleet and leasing providers, police forces and workshop networks. In 2016, the company launched a unique electronic catalogue and online ordering system (ECAT) on its new website, which is a first for the remanufacturing sector.
