About Ivy Scholars
Ivy Scholars Education helps students establish themselves as candidates for their target universities. Our aim is to help students develop into the most competitive candidates possible by enriching their educational experiences. We use tutoring and test preparation as a platform to strategize with our students to pick courses, extracurricular activities, volunteer work, and summer opportunities that align with their interests and convey a clear message about their personal development. We don’t just advise students on the path to their target universities – we coach them through every step to reach peak performance. All Ivy Scholars students create a Profile Project to demonstrate the best of their talents and skills to their target universities. Past Ivy Scholars have published undergraduate-level research in journals, worked alongside surgeons, attorneys, investment bankers, management consultants, engineers, and entrepreneurs, written code for disaster relief programs, composed prize-winning pieces of art, and ran nonprofits that provided thousands of dollars in aid to at-risk youth. These serve as centerpieces in the profiles our students show to their target universities, demonstrating commitment, organization, and innovation. Every summer, we counsel our rising seniors on navigating the Common App and ApplyTexas, helping our students shape a narrative of their progress through high school. Work intensifies when it’s time for the main essays – we coach students through conceptualizing, drafting, editing, and finalizing essays that portray them in the best light possible. Once main essays are complete, we work with students on each supplemental information section to ensure a clear, consistent message. Having written top-tier application materials about projects that expanded their intellectual horizons, our students have been accepted to Berkeley, the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia, NYU, CalTech, MIT, Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon, and more.
