About IWCA Germany (Official)

IWCA Germany e.V. is the official German chapter of the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA)—a global network committed to promoting gender equity across the coffee value chain. Our mission is to strengthen the visibility, participation, and leadership of women in all sectors of the coffee industry—from cultivation and processing to trading, research, and consumption. We work to empower women through professional networking, knowledge exchange, and sustainable, impact-driven projects. As a non-profit organization, IWCA Germany collaborates closely with both local and international partners to drive systemic change. We provide a platform for women in coffee to build expertise, access resources, grow their influence, and engage in meaningful dialogue at every level of the industry. We envision a fair and sustainable coffee sector where women have equal access to opportunities, are represented in decision-making spaces, and can act with economic independence. By fostering an inclusive and supportive ecosystem, we aim to overcome structural barriers and contribute to lasting social justice within the global coffee community. We invite professionals, institutions, and organizations who share our values to connect with us, collaborate, and become part of a movement that is shaping the future of coffee through diversity, equity, and collective leadership.
