About Us Iyengar yoga is for all bodies, all ages, and all physical conditions. You are never too stiff or too old for yoga. Our Iyengar Yoga Centers at 12South and South11 welcome everyone that comes through our doors. Our mission is to provide the best teachers, well trained in the Iyengar tradition, and to provide classes that suit the needs of all level students, from beginners to advanced students. 12South Iyengar Center has provided precise, intelligent and effective instruction in the method of Iyengar yoga since 1999. Our studio's light-filled, peaceful space is located in the heart of the 12South District. The studio is fully equipped with custom-made rope walls as well as other props used in the practice of Iyengar yoga. We also sell yoga props, books, instructional videos and yoga clothing.
