Design-Led Makers of Bespoke Architectural Hardware. Architecture of the Everyday. https://linktr.ee/ize_werkbund izé was founded to reconcile design, architecture, art and manufacturing. We offer unique design and production, including the customisation of individual items or products from our constantly expanding ranges and wide variety of finishes. We work with some of the finest names in modern design and architecture and have handles in our cultivated galleries designed by the likes of David Adjaye, Zaha Hadid, Kenneth Grange, Juhani Pallasmaa and Francesca Torzo. We have also adapted and reproduced classic modernist handles by the notable likes of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier, and Walter Gropius - pioneers of architecture, many designs of which remain unsurpassed in their refined and rejuvenated elegance. In addition to recreating and improving patented timeless designs, we also reproduce or adapt historical items for projects if required, as we specialise in the art of visually aged-finishes and natural living-finishes. Our collaborations permeate even the smallest detail of a building, from escutcheon covers to coat hooks, thanks to the talented designers and our dedicated team. We are honoured to state that izé's door handles have been a part of several exhibitions: the Royal Academy, the Design Museum (London), the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum. We are proud and passionate about the work we do because for us, life is about seeing and creating beauty, and this is where that journey begins.
