J Anderson & Son Ltd (JAS) are a company specialising in deep excavations to expose live gas oil and water lines such that the client can undertake effective repairs to their infrastructure. At JAS we undertake a variety of civil projects including extensive expertise in excavation works ranging from simple excavations to expose buried services from which the client can inspect and repair their asset to large complex excavations that expose large areas of buried services for modification, alteration or recoating or for the installation of large buried items such as klygester sewage treatment equipment. Complex excavations include works on extreme inclines or in close proximity to large bodies of water through the use of cofferdams for which we manage all aspects of temporary works from design through to completion. We undertake concrete works from setting out and pouring large bases for equipment to be sited to repairing areas that have been damaged by traffic or the like. We are also able to offer concrete cutting using high pressure water or diamond wire. We are very experienced in the installation both concrete and steel pipe support systems such as those used in the gas and oil industry and repairing pit wall transitions and are currently working on trialling these made in GRP. We have two fully tested mobile media blasting posts and teams and are able to undertake the blasting of pipework to remove rust or coatings to allow for repainting and or re coating. We undertake the installation of GRP kiosks and door units on gas governor buildings. We operate as principal contractor, principal designer and onsite project management for larger projects.
