About J Colomer Group
We are a Catalan group corporation located in Olot, a little town close to France. Our history goes back to the 80’s when we founded our first boning beef company CARNICAS J COLOMER SAU. At the beginning we were mostly working in the national market and nowadays we are positioned completely in the international markets having the 80% of our sales abroad. In the 90’s we extended our business with the foundations of DESPIECES CÁRNICOS OLOT SLU, a mutton boning company also placed in Olot. Finally, in 2008, we made our last incorporation FRIGORIFICS LES PRESES SLU 4 km away from Olot. As this is our most recent corporation it has the latest and more advanced technologies of the meat market in order to satisfy all our customer needs. As we are in a completely changing society, our group has adapted itself to the new requirements and demands of the market. Since the beginning of 2012 we are working in the relocation of our boning plants of mutton and beef into new installations equipped with the best mechanisms.
