J CUBE is a wholly privately held company based in Yokohama Japan, with representatives in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Singapore, Montreal, Berlin and Venice. HISTORY Originally established in 2013 to respond to the demand for professional solutions for 3D CGI / VFX in Japan, J CUBE has quickly positioned itself internationally, first by publishing research at SIGGRAPH, and then with the widespread adoption of its 3D CGI / VFX / Anime software products Multiverse and Maneki which are being used on major Hollywood film productions and Netflix Original TV Series. PRESENT & FUTURE As of June 2018, together with its strategic partners, J CUBE has expanded its business to develop the novel core technology Lightfront: a secure, generalized, bi-directional ultra low latency live data streaming framework designed for hardware and cloud applications in the Internet of Things (IoT). The project involves cloud infrastructure, low-level software and hardware development, front-end and back-end web development, computer graphics, rendering, streaming, computer vision, artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented reality and virtual reality.
