J West Engineering is becoming one of the few firms in South Yorkshire with people and resources to meet the following challenges. We provide a full spectrum of Design, Fabrication, Machining and Construction services by employing specialist people with outstanding ability. J West Engineering holds certification of ISO 9001:2015, BS EN 1090 CE Marking and ISO 3834 Part 2 Welding. J West Engineering is a fabrication and engineering company based in Shafton, Barnsley. We also have a project management office near London to control capital projects including site refurbishment and structural steelwork in the city. The objective of the company is to provide a service to our customer which is unique in the engineering sector. The service offered is to ultimately provide a turn-key package to our customers. This consists of design, detail, fabrication, machining and painting, project management and site installation within the same premises. Typical markets where we have a wealth of expertise are oil and gas, rail, water process, nuclear, building construction and refurbishments. Additionally, as well as offering a full turn-key package, we also offer each service as a separate package to our customers. J West Engineering are committed to Health and Safety and have worked with the HSE to develop monitoring systems for hand arm vibration which we received national awards and recognition. We are members of ROSPA, IEMA (Environmental management) and IIRSM as well as members of our local safety group SOHSA based in Sheffield. We have an in house Chartered Health and Safety Advisor (CMIOSH) who ensures that health and safety is always at the forefront of all our activities and plans. J West Engineering operates a welding management system certified by TWI (The Welding Institute) BS EN ISO3834 Part 2 including CE marking certification BS EN 1090 Part 2. We also have vast experience in six sigma and lean management.
