Each African Sunset, whilst always exquisite, is never alike, they're always unique. But there is always the few we experience in life, that stay with us for years to come. The Camp Jabulani experience is quite the same. With so many luxury safari lodges in Africa, to choose from, what makes our lodge different? Apart from being a proud member of Relais and Châteaux, we offer what can only be described, as a “Soulful Safari”. There is a story to listen to, a future to understand, and a path in-between, that you feel somehow connected to, in an emotional way. You feel like you have been part of something bigger, and more meaningful, than just another luxury lodge, as you learn about the elephants and their carers, that our lodge was built to sustain. Learn about the journey of Jabulani, an orphaned elephant was rescued and taken to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre for rehabilitation, in 1997, who then found a family with a herd of elephants that were rescued by HESC from Zimbabwe in 2002. Our lodge was built in 2005, to ensure a safe and happy place for the elephants and their carers, for years to come. Through the years we have become synonymous with exceptional service, as each guest’s itinerary is completely personalised to their desired pace, as well as their culinary journey. Enjoy magnificent wildlife sightings, and the opportunities to spend time meeting and observing the Jabulani Herd, in breathtaking surroundings. Jabulani has only six suites as well as the exclusive 3 bedroom Zindoga Villa, ideally suited to the family traveller, or guest who prefers an extremely private and exclusive experience. Its our people, it's our elephants, and it's our story. And a unique and soulful one, at that.
