About Jack Up Events
Founded in 2013, we are an events management company that has developed from running a flagship community festival on the Isle of Wight to broadening into other events throughout the year. Our guiding star is to deliver affordable high-quality, locally-accessible cultural entertainment for an audience which is a mix of holidaymakers seeking an Island attraction and Islanders who wish to indulge in their youth, reliving happy memories whilst coming together to make new ones. The catalyst is the annual Jack Up The Summer festival, a completely homegrown, independent grassroots event (capacity 4,999). We attract visitors to the Isle of Wight, an area of the UK heavily dependent on coastal tourism. Established for 8 years, Jack Up The Summer provides a platform for young emerging Island musicians and is a pivotal contributor to the Island's visitor economy. Supported by an extensive supply chain, we provide considerable employment and trading opportunities for local businesses, invest in local services and skills and raise vital funds for charities and good causes. Jack Up The Summer is well established and provides an entirely different type of offering, a family-orientated festival enabling people of all ages to partake in and enjoy the festival experience. Other established sell-out events in our portfolio include Jack Up Christmas and Jack Up The 70s, both indoor disco party nights featuring celebratory live music from the 70s, 80s & 90s. Also Ticket to Ryde, a 60s themed free-to-attend community event held annually since 2014 over the August bank holiday weekend to raise money for our nominated local charity of the year. Our aim is to become the go-to provider for parties, celebrations and reunions on the Isle of Wight.
