Jackie’s List was created out of the necessity to have a one stop place to find resources, and how to find resources, quickly and easily on the internet. While it’s true that just about anything can be found on the internet researching particular resources can be tricky due to terminology and “key words”. Other times it can be because you just don’t know what it is that you, or the person you’re working with, needs. Hopefully soon comments and threads will be started so that we can all help each other find resources that best meet individual need. Sharing of resources is the best way to create a network of safety for children, families, and all community members. For Professionals: This site was also created with the social service professional in mind. Whether you are a Ph.D. LCSW, GSW, MFT, or represent one of the many other professions in the field of social work, in time we will have a platform for you to do on-line training and seminars in webinar form, with promotion of your event. You will also be able to use this site to promote and sell your profesional materials in conjunction with your training or seminar event.
