About Jackson Liles Architecture
Jackson Liles Architecture (JLA) is a nimble architecture studio known for designing creative, resourceful, and beautiful projects driven by function. Our projects consistently respond to complex design problems, challenging sites, and difficult approvals environments while creatively exceeding our client’s expectations. Common to each of our commissions is a relentless pursuit to understand our client’s goals, the site opportunities that make each project unique and the technical challenges inherent in architecture. Our studio engages in projects of all scales ranging from the detailing of a child’s preschool cubby to the site planning of a 25-acre urban-industrial complex. JLA is a California S-Corporation founded by Julie Jackson, AIA and Brian Liles, AIA in 2005. As the firm principals, Julie and Brian have grown the JLA studio into a close-knit team of 18 experienced architects, project managers, designers and technical staff. JLA leads each project through all phases of design and construction, which enables the studio to foster strong partnerships with our clients, consultants, and contractors.
