About Jacwicks Designs

Jacwicks designs and produce a unique Perch range of waterproof sit-mats, as well as face masks and fabric gift wrap. Each unique product is handmade in the UK from the North East of England, near the beautiful city of Durham. The environment is at the heart of everything I do and I source materials from a variety of suppliers within the UK, prioritising fabric due to go to landfill, where possible. As a result, the range is regularly updated with new limited edition designs. The Perch range consists of a Pocket Perch a waterproof sit-mat which fits in a standard coat pocket and can be taken anywhere. It is loved by Country Walking magazine and was shortlisted for Gift of the Year 2019. The Pixy Perch is made for children or smaller adults and comes in great range of colours. The Poly Perch is made for two, or you and a rucksack or bag to have a mini picnic. The Pet Perch is specially made for your favourite furry friend. Ideal to take on journeys with your pet so they know where they can sit or sleep in comfort. The Picnic Perch is the largest of the range and a luxurious take on a picnic rug, With an extra layer of protection from bumpy damp ground the whole family can sit in comfort. New for 2020, our beautiful triple layered face masks are designed with an extra tuck near the nose and under the chin for a closer fit. Fabwrap is fabric saved from land, based on the Japanese art of Furoshiki producing fabulously wrapped gifts in 2 knots All products are durable and made to reuse time and time again. Every attempt is made to keep packaging as environmental friendly as possible, by using recycled card for bands, tissue and durable paper envelopes for packing and posting, any plastic is kept to a minimum. Additional help with production is sourced from local social enterprises. I outsource to Just for Women a SE in Stanley Co Durham, who offer an environment of support and learning, crafts and laughter to those who are in need of support.
