A native of Cape Town, South Africa, and now living in the USA, Chef Meryl started traveling the world at the young age of 8, and she continued her travels until settling down in the Rocky Mountain ski resort town of Park City, Utah. After several years of cooking as a private chef, Chef Meryl hit on the idea of making her amazing cuisines available to a broader audience by incorporating her recipes into a childhood favorite toasted pocket known as a “jaffle” and putting them into food service and onto retail shelves.
