When it comes to quality automobiles in San Diego County, one name has topped the list for over 30 years - Hoehn Motors. The Hoehn family has been in the car business since Hoehn Chevrolet was founded in Cherry Creek, Colorado in 1928 by Theodore W. Hoehn. In 1938, the company moved to Memphis, Tennessee where operation transferred to Theodore W. "Bill" Hoehn, Junior. After moving to La Jolla, California for what turned out to be a short-lived retirement, Bill founded Hoehn Motors in 1975 in Carlsbad. Bill's two sons Bill and Bob now own the business. Today, the family is proud to say that there is a fourth generation of Hoehn car dealers working in the business: Ted, Jo Hannah, and Susanah Hoehn. Today, the Hoehn name represents eight brands and the company employs over 400 people. Hoehn's Gone British! Land Rover Carlsbad is amongst the newest additions to the Hoehn family. Our beautiful new facility is conveniently located off the I-5 in Car Country Carlsbad.
