About Jaime Leandro Foundation for Therapeutic Cancer Vaccines
The Jaime Leandro Foundation for Therapeutic Cancer Vaccines (JLF) is a private nonprofit organization established to deliver breakthrough cancer treatments. We are a unique consortium of experts in cancer, personalized medicine, clinical trials, and vaccines leveraging the FDA’s Expanded Access rule, also known as “compassionate use,” to develop personalized cancer vaccines. We work closely with patients who have been diagnosed with an advanced form of cancer—patients for whom the “standard of care” offers little or no hope. We collaborate with medical professionals and our partner organizations to facilitate the personalized vaccine development process from start to finish. Our partners include CSBio, Ennov1, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and xCures. These organizations and select others conduct advanced genetic sequencing, identify patient-specific neoantigen targets, manufacture the patient-specific vaccine, coordinate its administration by the treating physician, and monitor and report results to contribute to ongoing advancements.
