Jamaica Trading Co. LLC was established in 1994 in Dubai by Mr. Mahesh B. Lalwani, who is now its Chairman. In 1996, Mr. Jaikishin B. Lalwani joined Jamaica and is now its Director. From a humble and modest beginning, it has spread its roots in the export and import market by establishing another office in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Area in 2000. Over time, the Company has grown from strength to strength and is now one of the most recognized and respectable faces in the photographic industry. Having distributed world-renowned brands and understood the requirement of the masses, Jamaica, in 2010, decided to service its customers by acquiring the brand “Unomat.” In the same year, JTC International FZCO was established. Followed by this, in 2013, Jamaica Foodstuff Trading was established as well. Jamaica holds the copyright of UNOMAT® International Products worldwide. The UNOMAT® product spectrum ranges from consumer batteries, photographic paper, and chemicals, consumables, and UPS. Jamaica is the distributor of : 1. Hiti products from Taiwan (Dye Sublimation printers and consumables) in UAE and a host of countries in Africa since 2007. 2. Canon's professional and consumer photographic and IT equipment in designated countries of Africa since 2013. 3. Mitsubishi Photographic paper in the Middle East and African markets. Moreover, Jamaica has been an established partner with HP for the Middle East market.
