The People’s Palladium seeks to develop a permanent stage to facilitate the artistic and imaginative abilities of young people in today’s changing and diverse communities. We are an organization that encourages the engagement of diverse and multicultural identities to experience different cultures. We believe that the diversity we find ourselves in is a core asset providing creative energy to make play and pleasure the hallmark of The People’s Palladium. The People’s Palladium sees theater to play various roles in our lives ranging from therapy to entertainment allowing us to explore who we are and express the many and varied definitions of our identity. On the foundation of 'equality of opportunity' we intend on championing the relationship between theater work and its ability to activate and evolve social, cultural and moral realities. The People’s Palladium intends to create a ‘Theater of Ideas’ – to provoke an individual to think about morality, human relations or history. We question what place ‘Theater of Ideas’ has in our lives, and what is the artistic or philosophical attitude we should take towards it.
