J(a)-mee-lah. Origin: Arabic. Meaning: Beautiful. Jameelah Founder Candice Stewart creates artwork that signifies beauty, from fashion to craftwork. After studying at the Brit School she completed her degree in Fashion Contour at the London College of Fashion. Subsequently upon her graduation, her career brought a relocation to China where she assumed the role of lace designer, for Lingerie and Sports materials manufacturer Best Pacific. During this period she was behind many designs for luxury brands. After returning to the UK, Candice designed Swimwear & Lingerie for leading high street brands you see today. Candice is mostly inspired by the beauty of nature, life, ethereal and surreal concepts. All of the aforementioned have helped her as a well-versed designer today.
