About James Glancy Design
We’re the secret force behind Christmas, being one of the UK’s leading specialist designers of seasonal decorations. For 30 years, James Glancy Design has been at the forefront of the immersive design world. Based in South Bermondsey (opposite Millwall Football Club!), the company occupies an acre of studio space and with a permanent team of 70 is able to offer a complete service from design origination to installation. That’s the bit that makes us different. It’s a turnkey operation. Great design, strong project management and excellence in delivery. We try to work with the very best by partnering with really good companies like Price and Myers for structural engineering advice or Unusual Rigging for complex logistical jobs like Regent Street. Christmas design provides the largest part of our turnover. However, the same design and delivery skill set that has helped to get us to the forefront of the Christmas sector is now responsible for helping to set us apart in providing Place Making solutions. Last year it was the fastest growing area of our business. The high street, and retail in general, is in need of change and we feel that we are well placed to deliver strong solutions that will help to make the difference.
