About Janet Your Celebrant | Bilingual Ceremonies
I love being an independent celebrant and working with my clients to create a personalised bespoke ceremony to celebrate their special life events. I have a degree in French and German and have always enjoyed working with language on so many different levels. It is a pleasure and a privilege to write unique ceremonies. I can transform clients' stories into a beautiful ceremony that focuses on their life, beliefs and values and which people will remember for a long time to come. My warm, welcoming personality and approachable nature mean that personal interaction and fostering positive relationships are two of my key strengths. My clients feel comfortable talking to me when they share their story and trust me with this valued information. It gives me great joy to deliver a ceremony that I have created and I do so with enthusiasm, charisma and an appropriate pace and pitch. In a celebrant-led ceremony you can include any religious or spiritual elements, meaningful readings and poems, favourite music, symbolic actions, your own declarations, vows and promises. I provide the framework for whatever you want to include so that the ceremony flows and you can relax and enjoy it. The only thing I cannot do is the legal formalities required when getting married, but this is under review. If you're getting married but don't want a traditional religious ceremony or a short civil ceremony with a registrar - both of which have their place but may not fulfil your dreams, then engaging the services of an independent celebrant would be a fantastic option for you. A celebrant-led civil funeral can be a lovely occasion and a celebration of life. There is no one size fits all and it is an honour to be asked to write a ceremony to say Good-Bye to a loved one. I have been commended for my sensitive approach with the bereaved as I guide them through what they want to include in such an important ceremony.
