Located in the heart of the Salagou conservation area, Jardins d'Oranes are dedicated to aromatic and perfumed plants. The site is a unique biodiversity reserve, home to many protected species. Right from the start, we chose to practise agro-ecology to preserve this exceptional ecosystem, and all our produce is certified organic. Quality & Naturalness The stills are located right next to the gardens and once harvested, the plants can be distilled very quickly to preserve their character. Tailor-made We regularly discuss the choice of varieties, cultivation and distillation with our partners, and together we can create your natural ingredients. Key figures - 7 hectares of agro-ecological gardens, permanent soil cover with associated crops or plant cover. No inputs from outside the estate. Some of the crops are grown in permanent beds, others in rows. - Artisanal producer: all harvesting is done by hand, with light and non-thermal mechanisation. - On the estate, 70 hectares are devoted to livestock, surrounding the gardens. - Just under 2 hectares of Ciste Ladinifère, 4,500 Centifolia roses, around twenty crops in production. - Atmospheric and vacuum distillation, vapo and hydrodistillation.
