About Jarsin Shipbrokers
Jarsin Shipbrokers Pte Ltd is the shipbroking arm of the Meridian Shipping Services Group specializing in dry cargo chartering services ranging from Handy up to Cape size bulk carriers. We are also involved in sales and purchase of vessels as specialized projects. The history of Jarsin Shipbrokers dates back to 1988 as Jardine Shipbrokers under the Jardine Matheson Group with an international network of offices in Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, London and Taipei. Recognized as one of the oldest dry cargo shipbroker in Singapore when shipbroking industry in the region was still at it’s infancy, the company found success in dry cargo chartering, containers chartering, and demolition sales of vessels. In 2003, management reached a buyout agreement with Jardine Matheson Group and took over the Singapore office with name changed to Jarsin Shipbrokers Pte Ltd as the shipbroking arm of Meridian Group to provide additional value added services. Jarsin today is headquartered in Singapore with offices in Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai. Moving forward, Jarsin Shipbrokers will continue to seek growth opportunities while remain consistent to and preserve the philosophy and value of our founders.
