Jarsky was born in New York City and grew up in Toronto. He obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto and attended Dalhousie University for his architectural studies, where he was awarded his Masters in Architecture with Distinction. He has lived in Nova Scotia since 2000. Prior to launching his own practice in 2017, Jarsky was a partner at Fowler, Bauld & Mitchell, where he gained valuable experience over the course of nearly thirteen years. Jarsky is passionate about the idea of architecture as a process of discovery, listening, and experimentation that culminates in buildings and spaces that are physical manifestations of values.
