Company History In the early 1970’s, Bill and JoAnn Filthaut formed a cabinet shop called Filthaut’s Cabinet Shop, Inc. While working out of a 3,000 square foot barn on their residential property, the Filthauts produced everything from kitchen cabinetry to beauty shop stations to speaker consoles. In 1995, Bill and JoAnn decided to refocus their efforts into component manufacturing. The company moved into a larger manufacturing building and formally changed the name to JB Cutting, Inc. Under the same ownership, JB Cutting advanced the organization with the introduction of their children, Debbie and BJ, and a renovation of equipment and software. By 1996, JB Cutting recognized a need in the local market for thermoformed doors. At that time, some key capital investments were made and the company continued to evolve.
