About JD Motors

JD Motors is a family owned business operating over four decades and continues to grow stronger as each year passes. The company was established way back in 1975 to carrying out repairs of cars and light commercial vehicles using the double garage of the family home in Farnham. After a few years working in those cramped conditions, our reputation and customer base had grown sufficiently to move the business to Rushmoor Garage, just south of Farnham, which was formerly a Volvo main dealership. Initially operating just three recovery vehicles, this was soon built up to a small fleet of recovery vehicles for roadside assistance and the collection and delivery of customers vehicles. Our first major contract was with Spedeworth International to collect small oval race cars and national hotrods from their race circuits across the south of England. We still operate from premises in Rushmoor but now have additional facilities in Mill Lane, Alton. JD Motors have almost from inception been contracted by Surrey Police to recover accident damaged vehicles and to provide assistance to members of all the major motoring organisations and insurance companies. A good percentage of our work is also for the movement of vehicles for dealerships and body shops. We are active members of the Association of Vehicle Recovery Operators by attending meetings and social functions. We also support the Retail Motor Industry Federation.
