The 2025 Competition will be held January 3 - 5 in beautiful Downtown Ottawa! -- JDC Central unites over 400 business students from across central and eastern Canada for an exhilarating three-day competition featuring consulting-style academic case challenges, parliamentary-style debates, sports tournaments, and both social and improv activities. Established in 2007, JDC Central stands as one of Canada's premier business competitions alongside JDC and JDC West. The name JDC stands for Jeux de Commerce which comes from the original competition hosted in Quebec in 1989 and translates to the “Business Games”. The commitment of the participating schools extends far beyond the weekend of events. Each delegation is deeply involved in various local and national charity initiatives, volunteer work, and diverse challenges throughout the year. From rigorous practice sessions and charity fundraising to spirited school chants, the delegations embody a strong sense of school spirit and healthy competition. While winning is the goal, all schools personify sportsmanship and fair play. Seeing this level of commitment has allowed us to create this year's theme of: Igniting Minds: Lighting the Path Forward The ultimate goal?
