About Jeder Institute

The Jeder Institute is a ground-breaking, dynamic organisation who brings people together to realise their full potential and build on their existing networks and community strengths! We believe that everyone has abilities and everyone has something to contribute to their communities because there is no one we don’t need! Jeder Institute is a not-for-profit Collective of approximately 30 domestic and international members, based mainly in Australia. We are an innovative, international, strengths-focused organisation with extensive experience in creating collective action throughout the world specialising in: * Building individual and community capabilities and resilience (pre and post disaster) * Facilitating community conversations and events on critical social and environmental issues * Supporting family capacity building (people with a disability, their families and carers) * Identifying individual and community assets and strengths (e.g. mapping, recording) * Engaging and connecting with a diverse range of communities (economically vulnerable communities) * Co-developing change management frameworks with organisations and institutions * Co-creating robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks for action The Jeder Institute aims to create positive change for individuals and communities around the world by bringing people together to realise their full potential, build on their existing networks and community strengths and to empower individual’s choice and control. To achieve this, the Jeder Institute works towards building the capacity of communities, services and organisations, including the sustainability of project work undertaken by our collective members, by involving key people in the planning, organising and running of training and events to ensure work is relevant to their organisation and/or community. https://linktr.ee/jederinstitute
