Jenn's Gym is a registered charity for people with neurological conditions who want to improve their health and well-being in an environment specifically designed with their individual needs at its core. It is fully wheelchair accessible. Up to 2 people may accompany members to help assist them in the gym. Including traditional gym equipment, the range of equipment includes: an FES Bike (Functional Electrical Stimulation), a stationary bike with a computer that delivers electrical impulses to muscles. It detects muscle output and supplies current at the right time, enabling natural cycling despite weakness, paralysis, or other issues. NuStep: This recumbent cross-trainer provides a full-body workout for arms and legs, boosting strength, cardio, and endurance. Regular use can reduce hospitalizations, improve recovery outcomes, and enhance overall health. SCIFit: A versatile rehabilitation tool that offers a full-body workout, combining an upper body exerciser with a lower body recumbent bike for comprehensive exercise and rehabilitation. Total Gym: Features a sliding board and pulley system using body weight and gravity for resistance, allowing seamless transitions between exercises. Ideal for circuit training without adjusting weights. Standing Frame: Decreases risks from prolonged wheelchair use or immobilization. Benefits include increased bone density, improved circulation, muscle tone, and posture. Standing stretches muscles and enhances joint alignment, preventing pain. It can also improve bladder and bowel functions, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Syrebo Rehabilitation Gloves: These gloves use soft robotic exoskeleton technology for passive and active integration training, covering all rehabilitation stages. Effective for various training modes, they promote brain injury recovery, enhance hand activity, and restore daily living abilities.
