About Jetpel
JETPEL – we make you fly! We provide the power and thrust for your aircraft. And the fun of jet flight! Jetpel GmbH was founded in 2019 in Aachen, Germany, as e.SAT Powertrain GmbH while developing the innovative powertrain for the Silent Air Taxi as part of e.SAT GmbH. We established our new brand JETPEL in October 2021 as we gained profound knowledge on forward-looking propulsion concepts in the last years that we now share with our customers. We develop ultra-silent and environment-friendly powertrains for aircraft ranging from 1 occupant to 19 passengers as well as unmanned applications. Our mission is to provide a noiseless and emission-free powertrain as a sustainable solution to noise and emission related acceptance problems through technological innovation and thus becoming an enabler for the new air mobility for intermodal transport. The core innovation of our propulsion system is an ultra-silent ducted propeller - the jetpeller - with a proprietary architecture and blade design that largely cuts noise generation and propagation, in combination with a modular, hybrid-electric powertrain platform. Therefore, we are investigating both multi-fuel piston engines with electric boost and also hydrogen fuel cell concepts for a green propulsion. This also includes energy storage aspects. Besides supplying the complete powertrain and single components, we support as JETPEL our customers with powerplant integration from energy storage to cooling, engineering and simulations, access to a highly modern test infrastructure and provides consulting in certification.
