About Jewell Towne Vineyards
Jewell Towne Vineyards takes pride in being a New Hampshire winery and producing grapes and wine of superior quality. Jewell Towne Vineyards has garnered the award for the Best New Hampshire Wine at six of the nine last competitions held at the Eastern States Exposition. We are the oldest, most awarded winery in New Hampshire. Our winery is a charming, New England Post and Beam Barn which is open seven days a week for complimentary tastings and tours. Historically, Dr Oldak planted his first grapevines in 1982. Jewell Towne Vineyards went on to become a leader in the New Hampshire wine industry, working with other vineyards, state legislators, the New Hampshire State Liquor comission, and starting the New Hampshire Winery Association. We have been featured on NH Chronicle, rated as excellent in a competion of all 50 states by Time Magazine, and Peter has been been cited as the Father of NH Wine Industry by Jancis Robinson.
