About JFK Airport Chamber of Commerce

The John F. Kennedy International Airport Chamber of Commerce was established in 1978 by a group of business people in the JFK Airport area. Their objective was to create a platform for these individuals to gather and discuss their common concerns. JFK Airport is the only airport in the United States to have its own Chamber of Commerce dedicated to the airport business community. The Chamber has been successful in enhancing the general welfare of the airport community by fostering better relationships between business people and various governmental agencies at the Federal, State, City and local levels. JFK Airport is one of the world's leading international air cargo centers. The airport has over 70 Passenger and Cargo airlines from the four corners of the world servicing it. In 2022, it handled 55,175,249 passengers, making it the 11th busiest airport in the world in terms of passenger traffic. The Chamber's membership is diverse, reflecting the character of business at the airport, and includes air carriers, air cargo forwarders, agents, and nearby container stations, among others. Becoming a member of the Chamber offers companies the opportunity to support the airport's growth and success, and to be part of the many activities and changes taking place at JFK Airport.
