Jgive is a non-profit social startup with a goal of strengthening the culture of giving in Israel, increasing mutual responsibility in our society and encouraging everyone to engage in charity however they can. On Jgive.com, one can find crowdfunding campaigns from over 1000 charities in more than 15 different fields. Each charity is a certified non-profit looking to improve and shape Israeli society. As a non-profit ourselves, we understand how important every donation is to charitable organizations. Therefore, unlike other sites, Jgive charges no fees or commissions, and every dollar from every donation goes to charity except for the credit card clearance fee that goes to the credit clearing company. All donations made on JGive are tax-deductible in Israel, the United States, and Canada. Jgive features a special program for companies in which they can distribute "Give Cards" to their employees. Each card is loaded with money that can be used on Jgive. The card is creating a new concept of corporate responsibility, one in which employees are directly involved in choosing the destination of corporate charity. As society changes, younger generations are less likely to give to large, faceless organizations. Jgive is providing the opportunity for a direct connection between individuals and charities.
