About Jigsaw4u
Jigsaw4u is a well established South-West London based charity that has worked since 1997 to support children, young people and families with complex social, emotional and bereavement issues. We work proactively to get children, young people and their families back on track by building positive relationships and empowering them to have a voice in their future. Jigsaw4u works with over 7,000 children, young people and parents/carers every year. We provide therapeutic one-to-one support along with group work, family sessions and positive activities for children and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to access them. We provide counselling, mentoring, befriending, advocacy, parenting support and participation so that children and young people receive the necessary support that they need, but also have their voices heard. We bring together children and young people who feel alone and different, so that by sharing their experiences they can develop the tools to move forward in their lives. Given the wealth of knowledge we have in this field, Jigsaw4u offers courses designed to provide those who liaise (work with) children the knowledge, skills and confidence to understand what is needed and offer appropriate support and guidance to the child and family.
