About Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Foundation

Founded in 1992, the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation is a provincial charity based in Saskatoon that supports pediatric and maternal health services in the areas of patient care services, research and equipment enhancements. The Foundation is a proud provincial partner with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health and the Saskatchewan Health Authority in helping build and provide the enhancements for the new Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital, which began construction in September 2014 and opened doors in September 2019. Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation supports current pediatric and maternal needs across the province through grant disbursements of approximately $1 million annually. These funds purchase state-of-the-art equipment, improve medical treatments and help attract first-rate specialists and medical caregivers to Saskatchewan. Your donations also help provide family-centered care and allow Saskatchewan’s medical community to conduct vital research and be innovative in providing the latest in treatment and procedures. With your support, we are committed to ensuring that the right equipment, enhancements, research, and technology are purchased and realized within the walls of the new maternal and children’s hospital. The building is just the beginning. Saskatchewan is set to deliver the highest-level of care for our province’s sickest children with the opening of the new Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital – a provincial referral centre for moms-to-be, families and the over 200,000 children living in our province.
