Our mission is to create remote work opportunities for displaced individuals in Lebanon and neighboring countries affected by recent humanitarian crises. By connecting skilled professionals from these regions with employers worldwide, we aim to empower them to rebuild their lives, support their families, and contribute their talents to the global workforce. The devastating conflict in Lebanon and surrounding areas has resulted in the displacement of thousands of people. Many have lost their homes, jobs, and means of livelihood, creating an urgent need for sustainable support. Traditional forms of aid, while helpful, are not enough to address the long-term economic instability these communities face. JisrRemote focuses on helping displaced individuals tap into global job markets by facilitating remote work opportunities. Many affected individuals possess valuable skills in areas such as IT, design, customer service, and more, but lack access to traditional employment due to their situation. By offering remote jobs, employers can help these individuals regain financial independence, reduce reliance on aid, and contribute positively to the global economy. The name “Jisr” جسر means “Bridge” in Arabic, symbolizing the role of the initiative in building a bridge between skilled individuals who have been displaced by conflict and employers worldwide who are offering remote jobs.
