J.J. Textile is a UK-based business offering unique soft furnishings designed and crafted in wool and cotton. The collection includes blankets, throws and cushion covers with designs featuring images of wild and domestic animals, lovingly envisioned by designer Jurate Jakstaite. With 15 years’ experience in the textile industry Jurate has been designing and selling her own products in the UK and overseas since 2012. Each year she draws inspiration from closely observing her new-found home environment of Great Britain as well as from her experiences working for other well-established, overseas textile companies to create fresh, fun additions to her collection. Jurate has a longstanding relationship with trusted manufacturers in her native Lithuania who carefully and skilfully bring her designs to life in either pure wool or blends of wool and cotton. New relationships with UK manufacturers are also beginning to take flight. The products are stocked by many independent businesses all over the UK, as well as by some larger retailers and are exported as far overseas as Japan. The blankets and throws have also been keeping customers cosy in hotels and on many outdoor café and wine bar terraces. The products make very special corporate gifts and bespoke designs are also possible (minimum order applies). The wool fashion lines are available exclusively through the J.J.
