JK Design & Manufacture is well-established sub-contract sheet metal engineering business with in-house facilities including laser cutting, CNC punching and folding, tube bending, welding, and finishing. Whilst many of our customers provide their own DXFs/models, using SolidWorks our design engineers can offer a full design service if required. We are proud to be able to offer full process traceability from the enquiry stage through to despatch. We work with ferrous and non-ferrous metals and have a separate “clean” stainless steel welding area for items supplied to the food industry. We supply into a variety of markets in the UK and Europe including retail and coin-op, construction, electronics, transportation, automation, food, and telecoms; products vary from simple bracketry to complex welded assemblies. In addition to flat sheet from 0.5 to 20mm thick, we can process flat bar, box section, angle and tube forming. Our CNC press brake machines process components up to 3m in length and we hold a wide range of tooling. Services include MIG, TIG and spot welding and our team are skilled at fettling all materials. For finishing, we have an inhouse powder coating plant alongside bead blasting and assembly too. We are a small but growing business with a profitable annual turnover of £1.6m, employing 23 members of staff, all of whom offer commitment and dedication to the task in hand.
