JL Properties is Alaska’s leading real estate development and investment firm with a portfolio whose market value exceeds $2 billion. In Anchorage, Alaska’s largest market, JL owns and manages over two million square feet of Class A commercial office space, nearly 25 percent of the Class A market. JL developed the Centerpoint office park, which includes some of Alaska’s iconic office buildings, among them the JL Tower, the ASRC Building, and the Centerpoint West Building. The company has also developed a number of other major projects, including the Anchorage Convention Center (co-developer), the National Park Service Headquarters, the Calista Corporation Headquarters, and the Cook Inlet Tribal Council Headquarters. JL has also acquired a number of premiere properties, including the ConocoPhillips Headquarters buildings, the Denali Tower, and the Calais buildings. The company is active in Anchorage retail development. It developed O’Malley Square, an upscale retail center, and is developing several other retail projects nearby.
