About Jlr Photography
Joe L. Reilly, Photographer/Artist, is the rare individual that was blessed with the gift of artistry and fortunate to pursue his passion as a life profession. Photography has sustained his life emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, as well as physically for the past 30 years. The love of images has always fascinated and challenged his talent and imagination. A native of New Jersey, his earliest childhood photos are earmarked by the ever present Brownie camera that hangs on a strap around his neck. The Brownie was a 9th year birthday gift from his parents, Len and Rita, who recognized his natural tendencies to record his world with vivid and unusual perspectives. They also gave him the greatest gift of all, the advice to "always follow your heart." The challenge of computer imaging surfaced for Joe in 1993. He became intrigued with the concept of abstraced realism through digital manipulation of images. His rich imagination transforms the images of the ordinary into extraordinary and challenges the concept of the "status quo." He continues to share his expertise and gifts by instructing talented photography students in Florida. Joe's sensitivity and caring is an integral part of his images appeal. The colorful spectrum of joy that emanates from his work has been coveted and applauded by all ages and vocations. As an award winning photographer, his passion can be experienced by your appreciation of his unique and vivid artistry of capturing the soul of the moment through his talented lens.
