Juan Munoz Jr. is JMJ. Originally from Detroit Michigan, Juan moved to San Antonio, TX after completing his time in the military. He started his career in the tent industry working for one of the mainstays in the business, Alexander Tents. In 2000, an opportunity to start his own business in Austin, TX developed with his longtime friends. With his partners, Juan grew one of the largest Event Rental companies in the country, Marquee Event Group. The Group sold to a private equity group, a fortunate move, right before the Covid-19 pandemic. When Juan was free to continue in the business on his own, he started another company designed to fill a need that was plaguing every tent company at the time, a labor shortage. He built and trained a skilled tent force to support the industry with labor that travels nationwide to support large events. Since the start of the business, he added some of the latest tent and flooring equipment to fill the needs of short inventory. "We focus on providing production, logistics, décor, scaffold flooring, and skilled labor. We specialize in labor and rental support, capable of installing Military Projects, National Golf Tournaments, Music Festivals and more," says Juan.
