About JMU Society of Real Estate
The JMU Society of Real Estate (SRE) is a professional business organization at James Madison University run by students with the help of our advisor, Chris Roeder. We work closely with the JMU College of Business, numerous real estate firms, and other experienced professionals to create an effective learning environment for our members. We seek to educate our members on the many facets of the real estate industry, including but not limited to real estate investing, development, and management. The JMU SRE hosts weekly meetings, career-panel events, and work shops to assist in educating our members from many different angles. We also help plan the annual "Real Estate Symposium" at James Madison University, an event that connects JMU students to alumni in order to foster career-related discussions.
