Company Profile JN Engineering Inc. is a full-service structural engineering consulting firm located in West Los Angeles. The company has been growing, gaining recognition from well-satisfied clients for its high-quality services, reliability and its professional level of conduct. We maintain a good relationship with our clients by working with them closely from the preliminary design to the construction phase. We are always working to the best interest of our clients by taking into consideration the time and budget constraints of each project, to deliver the most economical and safest solutions. We now specialize in Soft Story Seismic Retrofit to help homeowners bring their properties up to par with the Earthquake Hazard Reduction Ordinance standards. Principals Joseph Mina P.E. has a BS of Civil Engineering degree, board certified for over 22 years and has an extensive experience in structural engineering. He has been involved in the design of a variety of building types such as single and multi-family residential development, low-rise commercial and retail buildings, in different construction which includes concrete, steel, wood and concrete tilt-ups. Nabil Mallak P.E., S.E. has earned BS in Civil Engineering in CSULB in 1997 and MS in Structural Engineering from UC Berkeley in 2000. He has worked for major structural engineering firms in Southern CA where he participated in the design and analysis of major projects, including high-rise and mid-rise office buildings, schools, hospitals, convention centers and major retail stores. Principals hold professional and civil engineering licenses in California and are members of Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
