About Jo Tankers
Jo Tankers is a leading provider of deep-sea transportation services for chemicals and other high value liquids like petroleum products and edible oils. We are responsible for technical and commercial management of a fleet varying in size up to 74.500 dwt. Some vessels in our fleet can also carry semi-gas type products like propylene oxide and butadiene. Each vessel has up to 40 fully segregated cargo tanks, the majority of which are constructed from stainless steel. Our company has pioneered a number of innovations starting with the introduction of the first tanker with stainless cargo tanks back in 1960 and by introducing the first large double hull chemical parcel tanker in 1993. We will also in the future continue to strive for better and more advanced ships and systems in order for further improvement of quality, safety and efficiency of our operations. Jo Tankers has freight contracts with many of the world's leading oil and chemical companies, which provide a steady base to our activities. In all market segments in which we operate we provide regular sailings to our customers. Each and every cargo is handled with utmost care. We are continuously improving the quality of our services as well as adapting our organization to the ever-changing market and customer requirements. Our objective is to maintain long-term relationships with customers, as well as with suppliers and financial institutions. Quality, Safety and Environmental Care are and will remain our top priorities. In our offices world wide as well as on board our vessels we have approximately 780 skilled employees. With secure and stable working conditions both ashore and on board we deliver safe transportation with the highest standards on service and quality.
