About JoeVelluto Studio

The JoeVelluto studio, founded in the early 2000s by Andrea Maragno and Sonia Tasca, comprises a team of designers and creatives specializing in industrial design and communication. Their attention is on product creation, branding, art direction, exhibition design, publishing, and education. The studio collaborates with major corporations, small businesses, startups, organizations, institutions, museums, and non-profit organizations. The studio's soul is derived from their design philosophy, which is based on responsible and innovative avant-garde design that generates meaning. 'RosAria', a disposable rosary, was introduced in 2002 and is now part of the permanent design collection at the Neue Sammlung museum in Munich. In 2005, they curated the book "Salefino: nuovi sapori dal design italiano" published by Abitare Segesta. In 2006, Cristina Morozzi and JoeVelluto Studio launched 'Nazionale Italiana Design', which led to the creation of Coincasadesign, which was recognized with an honorable mention at the XXII Compasso d'Oro ADI Award. In 2008, the 'Saver' project by Coroitalia was mentioned in the ADI Design Index. In 2011, they presented "funcooldesign," a solo exhibition curated by Oliviero Toscani at the Triennale Design Museum - Milan, with a catalog published by Electa. In 2014, they exhibited the "Amen/Lumen" project with Alessandro Mendini, curated by Beppe Finessi. In 2021 and 2022, they were selected for the ADI Index with the "Tera" and "Design in Practice – Virtuous Design Practices" projects. The JoeVelluto studio teamed up with Emo Design in 2023 to enhance their design and communication abilities. They published the book "Estetica della Meditazione" published by RCS - Corriere della Sera in 2021, and curated "Design in Practice – Virtuous Design Practices" published by Flash Art – Politi Seganfreddo in 2024.
