John gained extensive expertise in the housing industry, from production processes to lean manufacturing principles, to deliver a better home-building experience for customers. John founded his own company in 2001, John Hunter Homes, LLC, specializing in building niche homes in Flower Mound, TX—the community where he, his wife, and children have lived since 1993. In 2003, John formed a business partnership based in Ft. Worth, TX that would expand operations to 7 manufactured home dealerships, constructing numerous homes, refurbishing and selling REO properties, handling repossessed homes, developing land, and managing a seller finance portfolio.
